Soul Genesis

Soul Genesis is a game inspired by folklore, set in Java, and centered around the concept of Rogo Sukmo. It features 2D pixel art graphics and belongs to the 2D platformer genre. The game is designed for single-player mode and can only be played offline without an internet connection.

The game consists of several locations divided into four levels. The main objective is to play as a boy named Kael, who lives in a remote village at the foot of a mountain. He grows up listening to legends told by the villagers about an ancient power that allows one to separate the soul from the body—a power known as Rogo Sukmo.

One day, his village is attacked by an army of darkness led by a demon king named Azmodan. Amid the chaos, Kael, who was out gathering firewood, accidentally awakens the ancient power when he touches a magical branch found in his usual firewood gathering spot. Kael then realizes he possesses the ability to release his spirit from his body—just like the legends he had always heard.
